5 Easy Low Carb Meal Prep Ideas
If you’ve ever meal prepped before, you know it makes life so much easier when you’re hungry and you have food options already ready in the fridge. This saves time AND money because you won’t get expensive food delivered in a rush when you’re too hungry to plan out a meal. Plus, you can’t overlook the health benefits: homemade food made with whole ingredients is much healthier than processed foods, frozen meals, or restaurant food, which you might turn to in a pinch.
But the downside of meal prepping is that it can be a strenuous and time-consuming task, which is why not everyone does it. You need to set aside a good chunk of time to plan, prep, and cook. Unless you could find a shortcut – like Power Provisions’ keto bone broth soups.
Power Provisions makes instant keto soup cups that only require boiling water and 3 minutes to prepare. With our instant soup cups and lots of recipes to go with them, meal prep is a breeze.
How to Meal Prep
The concept of meal prepping is simple: make batches of meals at the start of the week so you don’t have to cook every day. Start by organizing your meals: pick a couple of recipes and go on a grocery run. Make sure you have containers to store your prepared food in, too.
Start with the longest recipe and work on prepping other things when you have down time. You don’t need to cook the recipe in its entirety; even prepping a few main components saves a lot of time down the road.
It’s a good idea to choose meal prep recipes that taste just as good (or better) as leftovers. Things like curries, seasoned meats, and soups seem to develop more flavor the longer they sit in the fridge. Soups are arguably the best leftovers, making them our #1 pick for meal prepping.
If you’re cooking everything from scratch, this process will take you a good few hours. But with Power Provisions, you can drastically cut down this time meal prepping. That’s why we’re giving you 5 easy recipes for meal prepping using Power Provisions instant keto soups to make your life that much easier.

Easy Meal Prep Recipes
Keto Curried Cauliflower Soup
Prep a batch of this soup on Sunday and eat it all week long! Like a fine wine, the flavor just gets better over time.
Start by roasting cauliflower pieces drizzled with olive oil at 425°F for 20-30 minutes. Set cream cheese out to soften. Prepare your cheddar broccoli soup cup in the meantime.
Combine roasted cauliflower (with a few pieces set aside for garnish), soup, cream cheese, curry powder, and red pepper flakes in a food processor or blender. Blend until nice and smooth, or leave it a little chunkier if you’d prefer.
When you’re ready to eat, serve up the blended soup and top with roasted cauliflower pieces and a few sprigs of fresh parsley.
Meatballs are an awesome protein source to prep ahead of time. They go with anything and can even be frozen and reheated when ready to eat.
Combine ground beef, ghee, apple cider vinegar, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt & pepper in a bowl. Roll into balls and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or so.
These paleo meatballs make a great topping to a cup of bone broth soup for a protein-packed meal.
Keto Creamy Taco Soup
We absolutely love the Mexican-inspired flavors in this taco soup. It’s so easy to prepare and the leftovers will make any day feel like taco Tuesday.
Start by browning ground beef in olive oil and taco seasoning. Prepare a cup of creamy tomato bone broth soup. Add the beef into the soup and set it aside to cool.
Chop tomatoes and cube an avocado, combining the two together and squeezing lime juice over top. Keep this in the fridge until ready to serve.
Simply heat up the soup and ground beef mixture, then add the tomatoes and avocado plus some fresh cilantro as a garnish.
Paleo Deviled Eggs
You can make a batch of deviled eggs as a side to a meal, as a tasty snack, or even as a topping for a cup of soup.
Hard boil eggs, peel, and slice in half. Carefully remove the yolks, then put in a separate bowl with mayo, mustard, paprika, salt & pepper, mixing until combined.
Scoop this mixture back into the egg slices, then keep in the fridge until ready to eat.
Chicken Poblano Soup
You can prep this entire soup recipe and just pop it in the microwave or on the stove to reheat it.
Start by slicing poblano peppers and removing the seeds. Broil in the oven for just a couple of minutes until the skin is dark and blistered. Let cool, remove the skin, and chop into small pieces.
Cook peppers, cauliflower pieces, diced onions, and minced garlic on medium heat until vegetables are soft.
Prepare a cup of chicken vegetable bone broth, add the rest of the ingredients, and you have a tasty, smoky chicken poblano soup prepped.
