5 Ways To Use Your Chicken Bone Broth
Thinking about working bone broth into your meals? It’s a great idea for many reasons! Bone broth is rich in collagen and protein, not to mention it’s incredibly delicious.
Bone broth is a staple for many people on Keto and Paleo diets. At Power Provisions, we wanted to make it easier for people to enjoy a rich, flavorful bone broth meal in just a few minutes. Our bone broth soup cups are made with collagen and MCT oil, packed with 17-20 grams of protein, and less than 6 grams of net carbs each.
Chicken bone broth soup is one of our favorites, and we’re proud to have a Paleo and Keto-friendly chicken vegetable bone broth soup cup. Think of the comforting chicken soups you grew up with, and get ready to savor a better-for-you, better tasting version. Bits of vegetables and flavorful chicken bone broth will give you the same sense of comfort, and a chance to feel great about the food you’re putting in your body.
While our chicken bone broth soup cups are perfect to take on the go and fit into your busy lifestyle, we love to add some extra ingredients from time to time and enjoy them at home. We compiled just a few of our favorite ways to use our chicken vegetable bone broth soup cup!
Popcorn Chicken
Paleo friendly popcorn chicken coming right up! These were so easy to make – the taste brings you back to the chicken nuggets you loved as a kid but made with clean ingredients! These are a low-carb, gluten-free version that you can feel great about eating. All you’ll need is a chicken breast, almond flour, eggs, seasonings, and oil. Pan fry them, or even bake them in the oven or air fryer, add to your Power Provisions chicken vegetable bone broth soup and enjoy!
Keto Bread Bowl
Yeah, you heard us right. Bread bowls are one of the most fun and enjoyable ways to enjoy a flavorful soup – you shouldn’t have to skip that on your Keto diet! Make this low carb, cheesy Keto bread bowl by Annie from @Keto_Focus and pour in your chicken vegetable bone broth. Use the top of the bread bowl that you cut off to make some low-carb croutons, too!
This is a great option for a kid-friendly meal – get them some wonderful nutrients while they have fun ripping pieces off their bread bowl and eating with their hands.
Bacon Zucchini Tots
Another nostalgic favorite – tots! Instead of potatoes, we used zucchini and bacon to make them and we’re never going back. Low carb tots are a game changer! These are the perfect savory topping for our chicken bone broth soup. Perfectly crunchy, think of them as a crouton that’s made out of veggies and bacon. You’re welcome!
Kale Chips
Another crouton alternative comin’ right up! These are perfect for our chicken bone broth soup. A little added salt and crunch completes a bowl of comforting soup! There’s plenty of Paleo-friendly croutons out there, but we thought we’d switch it up with these Paleo kale chips to add some extra vegetable power to our chicken vegetable bone broth soup.
All you need is five ingredients and you’re on your way to a completely Paleo-friendly bowl of soup with kale chips! For ingredients, you’ll just need a head of kale, some avocado oil, salt and pepper (and any other seasonings you want), and red chili flakes and green onion for garnish. Chicken Noodle Soup
Missing the nostalgic taste of a warm bowl of chicken noodle soup? Add some noodles to our chicken vegetable bone broth for your own version! This one is so easy to customize for whatever ingredients fit your personal diet best. If you’re Keto & limiting carbs, use a low-carb pasta. If you’re Paleo, use a gluten or grain-free pasta. If you’re not too worried about ingredients or you have a go-to pasta favorite, use whatever you want! This one was made by Jeanette of @sweatysweetpotato.
Here’s how she likes to eat her chicken vegetable bone broth: “we love to have the chicken vegetable bone broth soup with chickpea noodles, plus a side of toasted sourdough with grass-fed butter for dipping.”
Don’t feel like making anything extra for your bone broth soup? We know times can get busy and overwhelming, which is why we set out to make bone broth soup cups in the first place! To prepare our chicken vegetable bone broth soup cup, remove the soup packet and MCT oil packet from the cup. Empty out the soup packet and pour in the MCT oil. Fill with boiling water up to the fill line inside the cup. Give it a good stir and cover it up with a plate, some aluminum foil, literally whatever you have laying around to cover it up and let it steam for three minutes. After time is up, uncover, and stir it up one more time.
That’s it! Take it with you on your busy day and know you won’t have to worry about finding a nourishing meal along the way.
